Hey Rod, The Trailer Dolly Depot Electric Trailer Dolly # TDD548FR is not equipped with brakes, so it's not able to handle the weight of the trailer on a downhill angle. This dolly is designed to only be used on a flat surface or uphill. I know a 3% grade isn't much at all, but I still don't think it's worth the risk because the worst-case scenario outweighs the best-case scenario.
